Using email lists for email marketing takes skill and caution at the same time. Email lists need to be managed once they are made because people sometimes opt out of receiving these messages while others opt in. Email addresses change over time as well so therefore you may have to remove those addresses that have become obsolete.

Email lists are something that can cause a business to become blacklisted which is another reason why there has to be caution while using these. Some businesses prefer to use multiple lists so that they don’t overuse one single list but for businesses that are using the one list because they know the recipients want the emails, there does have to be extra caution used because you can still be accused of spamming if you overuse the email addresses.

You may have already notified the recipients of how often they will receive emails but if not, the messages should not be sent even everyday in some cases. Businesses sometimes send them out every week or so because they don’t want to be bothersome. If there are too many, email boxes will show too many and they will become a nuisance.

When you have an email list, keep track of sent emails and don’t overuse the list. It will keep your marketing strategy safer in the end.
